Run Arena

Terms of Use

Effective October 12, 2026

The agreement

Run Arena is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These terms add a few things specific to Run Arena. By using the app, you agree to both. If they conflict, the Standard EULA wins.

Run safely

Run Arena is a game, not medical advice. Running is physical activity with real risks:

  • Check with a doctor before you start a new exercise program, especially if you have a health condition.
  • Stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.
  • Stay aware of traffic and your surroundings. Don't look at your phone when it isn't safe to.
  • Never chase a monster, a friend or a streak at the cost of your safety.

You run at your own risk. Distance, pace and other figures in the app are estimates from your phone's sensors and may not be exact.

Run Arena Pro

Run Arena Pro unlocks the app. It's offered through the App Store as an auto-renewable subscription, and may at times be free to claim.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
  • A subscription renews automatically unless it's canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel it in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions, or from Settings inside Run Arena.
  • If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Fair play

XP is for real runs. Please don't fake runs, spoof your location or tamper with the app. Runs that look like they weren't run on foot may not earn XP.

In Friends, keep your name and runner tag respectful. We may remove a runner card that impersonates someone, is offensive, or breaks these terms.

Game items

XP, levels, badges, chests and gear exist only inside the game. They have no cash value and can't be sold, traded or exchanged for money.

Fictional characters

The monsters and simulated runners in Run Arena are fictional. Simulated runners' photos are generated images of people who don't exist.

Your content

You're responsible for the name, runner tag and photo you add. Your photo stays on your device and in your private iCloud backup; it isn't shown to other players.

Changes to the app and these terms

We may update Run Arena, add or remove features, or change these terms. If the terms change, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.

No warranty

Run Arena is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for injuries that happen while you exercise. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
